As weird as this may sound, one of the things I like most about our house is this tree-particularly in January when it's in bloom. Although we've been living here for almost two years, we have no idea what kind of tree it is (typical). We have been told, by an eavesdropping neighbor, that it's called an "ornamental pear" tree. (To this day, I have not seen one "ornamental pear" appear on it's branches. Whatev's.) It's a good tree. It's completely unruly (kind of like some of my favorite people). I think it'll make for some good climbing one of these days.
